On Tuesday, May 2, 2017, a breakfast reception was held in the Library Great Hall to celebrate the retirement of Doris A. Oliver, Assistant Curator at the Samuel C. Williams Library at Stevens Institute of Technology. Faculty, staff, and students alike attended the reception to honor Doris and recognize her for over 30 years of dedication to Stevens.
Doris first began working at Stevens in the Controller’s Office, and began working in the Library twenty years ago. Doris' passion for researching Stevens history and Hoboken history has inspired many colleagues, students, researchers, and visitors throughout the years. Her tireless efforts to provide support and guidance to students who were submitting their thesis or dissertation were greatly appreciated by the Stevens community.
The Library staff and colleagues across the University wish Doris all the best for a happy and healthy retirement.
