Researching Academic Institutions for Doctoral Job Seekers

The academic job search is different than non-academic, but one thing is the same: the more you know about the job you want, the better prepared you’ll be to apply for it. Learn how to use Library databases normally used for doing academic research to find useful information about the key research areas of the academic institution you want to work for. Show the hiring committee how your research experience fills a need they might not even know they have. Bring a job listing of interest! Presented in collaboration with the Stevens Career Center.
