Scholarly communication refers to the process by which scholars create, share and preserve their research, through means both formal (such as journal articles, monographs, and conference papers) and informal (like blog posts and tweets).
The Library’s Scholarly Communication program seeks to aid faculty, researchers, and students in their work through individual research assistance and workshops on topics such as:
- Citation tracking for promotion and tenure
- Social networking for researchers on Academia.edu and ResearchGate
- Where to publish, including Open Access journals
- Citation management
- Current events in scholarly communication
