Academic Search Premier, an EBSCOhost database, is recommended for all subjects, including science, technology, engineering, social sciences, and humanities. Academic Search Premier contains a wide range of quality scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, and trade publications. Access to this database is provided by the New Jersey State Library.

The ARTFL Project provides access to a broad collection of digitized French materials via FRANTEXT, which contains materials from the 12th to the 20th centuries, as well as a number of other databases also related to the study of French language, literature, and history.

JSTOR, a scholarly database, provides access to scholarly journal articles on the arts, sciences, social sciences, management, mathematics, and statistics, as well as images and primary sources. As JSTOR is an archival database, full-text availability of most journals starts from their first year of publication, while more recently published journal content is available after an embargo period.

The MLA International Bibliography, an EBSCOhost database, collects citations and abstracts for articles, books and other scholarship on literature, modern language, linguistics, and folklore.

Scopus is an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, including scientific journals, books, and conference proceedings. Topics covered include scientific and technical disciplines, medicine, social sciences, and the arts and humanities. This Elsevier database allows for in-depth research of specialized fields within an academic or scientific discipline.

SpringerLink is a publisher database that contains full-text access to journals and books in subjects including science, engineering, technology, humanities and law.

Nexis Uni, a multidisciplinary database from the legal and business research company LexisNexis, provides the full text of newspapers and magazines published worldwide, as well as news transcripts, international, federal, and state legal and regulatory information, biographical information, and corporate reports.

The News & Newspapers database from ProQuest provides access to a wide variety of regional, national and international newspapers, including the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.

Britannica Online is the online version of the Encyclopedia Britannica, a comprehensive reference work encompassing all knowledge, first published in print in 1768 and updated regularly since.
