The Center for Environmental Systems is focused on creating scientific knowledge, advanced technology, and innovative management practices that lead to novel solutions for a sustainable utilization of our environmental resources. Research areas include: Environmental Technology Development, Contaminant Fate and Transport, Remedial Processes, Environmental Geotechnology, Environmental Monitoring, Analysis and Modeling, and Water Conservation.

"Located on the banks of the Hudson River, just minutes away from New York City and the Atlantic Ocean, Stevens is a prime location for the study of environmental engineering.
