Library Technology

Public Computers (First Floor / North Wall)

  • Usage: Can be used by any member of the Stevens community when the Library is open
  • How: Log in with your myStevens username/password

  • Usage: Check out during Library hours for use in the building
  • How: Ask at the Circulation Desk, sign the Laptop Loan Agreement, check out with your DuckCard
  • Loan duration: 4 hours

 

Smart Kapp Whiteboards (First and Second Floors)

  • Usage: Borrow specific Smart Kapp markers/erasers at the Circulation Desk
  • Download the app for remote use with teammates who are located elsewhere

 

Accessories (First Floor / Circulation Desk)

Also available at the Circulation Desk:

  • Certain power cables, chargers, and power strips (borrow)
  • Whiteboard markers and erasers, pens, scrap paper (give)

Print, Copy, Scan

Printer/Copiers (First and Second Floors)

The Library's printer/copiers can be used with a Library computer (public or lending laptop), by downloading the Uniprint driver to your personal computer, or through using Uniprint on your phone.

Single Sided $0.04 per page $0.40 per page
Double Sided $0.03 per side $0.39 per side

 

To add money to your DuckCard:

  • CREDIT/DEBIT CARD: Users may add funds to their DuckBills using a credit/debit card through the DuckCard Office/DuckBills link in myStevens or with the Transact eAccounts mobile app.
  • CASH: You may add value to your ID card/DuckBills account by using cash at the machine located on the wall near the Library scanners.

Scanners (First Floor)

You can scan your document to PDF, TIFF, JPEG, searchable PDF, and Word. You can email the document to yourself, save to Google Docs, or save to your USB drive. We recommend limiting each file to 8 pages maximum.

There are two scanners located on the first floor near Sam's Place.  

There is no cost to use the scanners.
