Torch is an organization where people who identify as LGBT+, who are questioning their sexuality, or who simply want to support the LGBTQ+ community can come together and socialize without fear of alienation. Torch is a social organization whose members meet on a regular basis to discuss current issues, offer support, and to provide a social outlet.

oSTEM is a national society dedicated to educating and fostering leadership for LGBTQA communities in the STEM fields.

500 Queer Scientists is a visibility campaign for LGBTQ+ people and their allies working in STEM and STEM-supporting jobs. Their goals are to ensure the next STEM generation has LGBTQ+ role models; help the current generation recognize they’re not alone; create opportunities for community connections and greater visibility within STEM. 500 Queer Scientists is fueled by individual, self-submitted bios and stories intended to boost the recognition and awareness of queer scientists.

The mission of the National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals is to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing education, advocacy, professional development, networking, and peer support.

The goals of Lesbians Who Tech are: To be more visible to each other; to be more visible to others; to get more women and lesbians in technology; and to connect Lesbians Who Tech to LGBTQ and women’s organizations that are doing incredible work for community.
